1. General provisions

1.1 Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing ID+ Rencontre, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These documents govern your access to and use of ID+ Rencontre, whether or not you are registered. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.

1.2 Changes to the Terms

Changes take effect immediately upon publication on ID+ Rencontre. You are responsible for reviewing these documents regularly to stay informed of updates.

2. Registration and account

2.1 Eligibility

To create an ID+ Rencontre account, users must be at least 20 years old and free of any prior romantic commitment. This includes being single, divorced, widowed or separated. By registering, users declare and warrant that they meet these eligibility requirements.

2.2 User responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. If your account security is compromised, you must notify us immediately.

3. Use of the service

3.1 User conduct

You agree not to use ID+ Rencontre for illegal purposes or to promote unlawful activities. You must respect all members and refrain from any form of harassment or discrimination.

3.2 User-generated content

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. You warrant that this content is lawful and does not infringe any copyright or other intellectual property rights.

3.3 Photos, videos and publication

Events organised by ID+ Rencontre, both in person and by video conference, are photographed and filmed by ID+ Rencontre or by service providers acting on its behalf. These images may show your face, your figure, your voice and your interactions with other participants.

Condition of participation. Taking part in an event means agreeing to be photographed and filmed, and to the use of these images under the conditions below. This agreement is requested when you register for the event and confirmed by your signature on arrival. If you do not accept it, please do not register. A participant who refuses this agreement on arrival will not be admitted to the event.

Use of the images. The images may be published, without financial compensation, on the ID+ Rencontre website and app, on its social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and YouTube) and on its printed or digital communication materials. They are used solely to present and promote ID+ Rencontre events and services. This authorisation applies worldwide, given distribution over the internet, for a period of five (5) years from the date of the event.

Our commitments. ID+ Rencontre undertakes never to associate an image with your name, nickname, profile or any information from your account, never to publish any degrading image or one that harms your dignity, and never to transfer these images to third parties for their own advertising.

Your rights. You may at any time, without giving a reason, request the removal or blurring of an image in which you appear, through the Contact page. The request is handled within fifteen (15) days for publications controlled by ID+ Rencontre. However, ID+ Rencontre cannot guarantee the deletion of copies made by third parties.

Images taken by participants. Participants may not photograph, film or record other participants, or publish their image, without their express consent. Any breach may result in immediate exclusion from the event and suspension of the account.

3.4 Event sign-in

When you arrive at an event, you sign in on your phone. We record an image of your handwritten signature, your arrival time, your agreement regarding photos and videos, and your answers to any additional questions (for example an emergency contact). This information is used solely to draw up the event attendance list, to ensure participants' safety and to keep proof of your agreement.

Your signature and answers are deleted twelve (12) months after they are recorded. Only the record of your attendance and the proof of your agreement regarding images are kept, for the period during which the images are used. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification and objection through the Contact page.

4. Intellectual property rights

All content displayed on ID+ Rencontre remains the property of its respective authors. You may not use it without explicit permission.

5. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms of Use.

6. Limitation of liability

ID+ Rencontre will not be liable for damages arising from your use of the service. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Togo, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
